I was waiting with my home-from-college daughter for an immunization at the
medical clinic at the local Navy base (NAS Pax River) and we noticed a sign
that said:

 

"Feel free to breastfeed in our waiting area.

However, if you would like more privacy, a lactation suite is available for
your use.

Please let us know how we can make your visit more comfortable."

 

It was not there three months ago when I got my flu vaccine so don't know
why it appeared or if something precipitated its arrival, but I was glad to
see it.  I have no idea what the lactation suite looks like.  Hopefully it's
more than a closet. And.breastfeed was one word!
