I feel so fortunate that this tool is available for my clients.  It is not
my first line or second line intervention (except with induced lactation),
but it is a very useful medication.  There are so few side effects.  The
biggest obstacle seems to be the cost.  At full dosage it may be as much as
she would be spending on formula supplements-some dads have been reluctant
to pay for the medication when they could just give the other milk.  The
other problem I have noted with my clients is that some are reluctant to
wean off it, even after the supply is great.  They just don't want to mess
with what is working.  Has anyone else noticed this?
