I've told moms for over 30 years that 4-7 oz per week is fine, if baby 
appears to be doing fine (all the things you mentioned, peeing, pooping, 
acting normally.)  Most babies (when they get adequate chance to be at the 
breast and transferring milk) do this and more.  Everybody forgets that 
there are babies at each end of the scale that makes average baby in the
