 Dear Lactnetters,

Has anyone seen the latest glossy flyer to market their products to Docs
and hospitals from M....J.....?

"First generation of En..... with added nucleotides". I asked the rep
where
they get the nucleotides. He stated "They are grown from a specific kind
of yeast". Very interesting!

Another quote you will love. "With the addition of specific nucleotides,
new, advanced formula En....... is compositionally closer to breast milk
than ever before."

My favorite.....in small print: "Note: M....... J....... has added
specific nucleotides at levels similar to breast milk. However, leading
experts in immunology have concluded that claims regarding the addition
of nucleotides to infant formula enhance the baby's developing immune
system are NOT CLINICALLY SUBSTANTIATED. (caps mine) Sounds like a
disclaimer to me!
