Ovulation and PMS are related.  I can never remember whether it is

(a) the months you are ovulating, you tend to have worse PMS or
(b) the months you are NOT ovulating, you tend to have worse PMS

But it's one or the other.  I never had PMS til the last few years, when
the ovary on one side shut down -- then I would get horrible PMS one month,
nothing the next, horrible the following, nothing the next, etc.
