Yes Roberta, it was me, your memory is fine. I still have a few left if anyone would like them. One gal at ILCA (now I'm having memory problems) traded some
slides to me for permission to sell them. She said I could still give others
permission to sell them as well, but so far no one has asked. She is going to
crop out the precipitated stain so that them look nicer.
Just to refresh people's memory; I have made slides of Human milk and of
milk based formula spun and stained and under a microscope. Both were
spun the same amount and prepared in the same way. The formula slide looks
almost empty except for fat globules and a glop of stain that didn't dissolve
in the preparation process. The Breastmilk slide shows Macrophages and neutrophils and is obviously "alive" with good stuff. Seeing them side by side really
emphasizes the difference. The formula resembles concrete. Anyway, if anyone
still wants copies, I don't sell them but would gladly trade for copies of
your LC protocols, or interesting slides (particularly twins nursing), or
any educational articles you have that you could copy to add to my sparse
library of info to hit the Docs with (sorry guys).
