I nursed my daughter for five years following breast reduction surgery--my
story is in the archives.  My entire nipple was removed and repositioned, and
I have extensive scarring.  My left nipple ALWAYS hurt during nursing.  This
pain never went away, but I learned to deal with it.  During those five
years, I never knew what caused my pain.  But I feel certain now that it was
because of scar tissue.  Unfortunately, it was my daughter's favorite side!
