I am looking for input from anyone who works as an LC in a level III NICN . We currently have a "milk room" that is staffed by PCP's (patient care techs) who have been trained to handle and prepare all of our donor milk, Mom's milk and formulas each day. To make a long story short, our system is currently not functioning very efficiently and I would like to hear from others about how your hospital NICN is set up to do this.

You may post to the list or respond privately. If you e-mail me I can give you my phone number so that we can talk more in depth.

Thanks!

Holly McSpadden, IBCLC
