I've been nagging the makers of Sambucol (elderberry syrup) to send me
information as to its safety for children and lactating women.
Elderberry is an excellent anti-viral remedy and is particulary
effective in reducing flu symptoms.  It is safe for the whole family -
infants from the age of 2 months on.  It's fine for nursing mothers as
well.
