Mothers are bringing their babies to me in order to have the frenulum cut in
about 50% of the cases where I do it. Somebody has told them the frenulum is
tight and needs to be cut. I don't always agree, and sometimes there may be
a short tongue, but the frenulum is almost not visible and I don't, at least
try, not to cut tongues, which bleed like all get out. Other times the
mothers are coming for various breastfeeding problems. If I feel the tongue
is restricted by the frenulum, I suggest to the mother that we cut it. It's
a quick easy procedure, and sometimes it helps. It doesn't always, but
because it is so easy a procedure, and, fingers crossed, never had a problem
with it in probably at least a hundred or two times I've done, I sure don't
hesitate to do it, if the mother agrees.

I don't understand the question about future problems. What future problems
should I anticipate?
