As I was packing lunches today, I was thinking about the controversy
discussions on Lactnet over the last 2 days. I am reminded of the little
sayings I have in my office and the most effective tools I have been able to
give to my clients.  I decided to share with all of you....

1. Yesterday is history, tomrorow is a mystery and today is a gift......
that's why its called "the Present". (told to me by a client 2 weeks ago).
 The Present is the only time we are ever living in and the only time we can
effect.  Past and future time are in our heads and distract us from the here
and now.

2. The best use of our energy is to stay in "present time", to ask oursleves
the question "What lesson can I learn from this" instead of "Why?"

3. To recognize the difference between what is true and "truth".  Many of us
are plugged into cultural beliefs that disempower us (for example, "women
can't get along").  When we view events through our cultural beliefs, our
interpretation of happenings can get skewed.  The "truth" is that when we
look for the lessons to be learned, every event has a positive outcome in
some way.

Each of us has the power to put healing and positive thoughts into the
universe today.  Let's combine our efforts to do that and see what good we
can manifest.
