Good point re colostrum.  As a Neonatologist I usually circ older premies who
are getting a full stomach with feedings.  If you are doing the circ before
Moms full milk supply "comes in" , there shouldn't be a problem. Athough, I
have had infants nurse on day I or 2 and then spit up 20-30 cc of colostrum
plus mucus.
