Hi Evelyn,

Lawrence and Lawrence in Breastfeeding: A Guide for the Medical Profession
(Mosby, 5th edition, 1999) mention that doses of 600 mg/day of vitamin B6 may
be used to suppress lactation. This information is also in the Lactation
Consultant Series module on perinatal loss and grieving published by LLLI.

I don't have the 6th edition of the Doctors Lawrence's book so I can't check
to see if this info is in the most recent edition.

Hope this helps.

Warmly,
Carol Kelley LLLL
Taylors, SC
