I had very tender nipples with my son 2 years ago when an LC recommended
trying the hydrogels, and they worked spledidly! I kept them in the fridge
between feedings to keep them cool (talk about a shock though!)and they
reduced the inflammation and pain much faster. I would say I only had to use
them for 2-3 feedings to see a difference, but with Lanolin, I had to apply
for at least 24 hours.
