Rose--Now that I've caught up with my digests, I saw that no one mentioned
taking feverfew capsules to possibly decrease or prevent migraines. I've been
getting them the last few years and they were increasing in number and duration
until I started taking this. The migraines have now backed off to about one a
month. It was suggested to me by one of the pediatricians at the hospital who
takes it herself. Then just recently I read news reports that there are studies
to back up its effectiveness. There are no side effects that I know of. The
brand I take is "Migracare," by Enzymatic Therapy, dosage is one capsule per
day, 30 capsules costs about $7. Might be worth trying.
