The proper place for you to seek help in this matter is your consulate.
They will also be able to put you in touch with charitable agencies who can
help you with emergency accommodation.  Even non-citizens are not denied
medical treatment here when they need it.  It was remiss of the police not
to direct you to your consulate for help when you reported this matter to
them.  I am sure you will understand it is not adviseable for people to send
you money.
