To Brenda, R/T HRT replacement therapy for lactation,
I think the continuation of estrogen and progesterone would be
counterproductive to lactation. After all that is why we don't lactate until
we deliver the placenta and those hormones decrease. I believe they are both
prolactin inhibiting hormones and mama needs her prolactin increased. If
hormones are truly needed for lactation it would be prolactin and oxytocin.
What does everyone else think?
