Hi Susan,
Don't know the effects of this. However a health visitor here in the UK
who I was speaking to a few weeks ago says she runs a sleep clinic for
babies from 6 months of age.
She couldn't understand why I was bothered by this. She was taught that
all babies, without exception, should sleep through the night by 6
months. It is abnormal not to do so. This seems to be a common view in
the UK.
We have a long way to go!
Carolyn
