Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone lives in Australia or New Zealand or is familiar with the Sugar Babies study in Lancet regarding glucose gel that came from there a few years ago. We have a question from a Physician that read the study in which glucose gel was administered for babies with blood sugar readings between 25 to 35. They are feeling that since it is not stated, that readings above 35 should have formula given in that range. The study does not mention anything about babies over 35 and I'm presuming this is because those babies are treated by breastfeeding and not considered hypoglycemia in New Zealand, but need to prove that. Just wondering if anyone can give me any info about the New Zealand study and how they treated babies over 35? Thanks for any help.
