Is this advisable? The baby is about 5 weeks old, the mother attempted
breastfeeding in the first two days, says it was very painful, so she
stopped. The thrush is being treated with nystatin. Now mom wants to
relactate, the white plaques are still evident in the baby's mouth.
Mother claims she had no vaginal yeast infection and her nipples are not
painful at this time. No antibiotic use either.
thanks.
