Well, you just go, girl! The separation bugs me too - it ties in so closely
to the nursery "owning" the babies, and even L&D having "our moms"! When you
think about it, this "routine" separation of mom & baby is really
ludicrous - the peculiarity seems to lie more in that for so many
generations we have accepted this as "normal", rather than that now we
should be questioning it. Like, what were we thinking?
