The first question I would ask is what is this child's History? Has she been progressing along at less than 2% the whole 6 months, why the concern all of a sudden at 6 months? Did they address it before and rule out other causes? I.e. Metabolic, infectious, etc....Is she FTT? Or is she just constitutionally small? 
Also I agree now that she is 6 months old, is she showing readiness to eat solids? If yes, high calorie, nutritionally dense solids, i.e. avocado, healthy oils, coconut or organic EVO to mashed yams or potatoes. Don't know that she would be able to increase the fat amount in her milk enough to make a difference if she is this far down and baby that old, who is now showing an interest ? in other PO intake besides the breast.
