I say ladle the guilt factor on with a trowel. Onto those paid to advise
mothers on their and their babies health that is.
Facts certainly don't seem to have any effect on those who steadfastly
refuse to learn how to help lactation.
There doesn't seem much in the way of court action yet.As soon as there is
you can be sure the insurance companies which insure health professionals
and their employers will have all professionals dealing with mothers and
babies writing notes on every bit of advice they give on infant feeding.
So guilt seems the only option left.
I'm not talking about guilt tripping mothers, but those advising them who
are still getting their breastfeeding info from formula sales reps.
What would you think of the credibility of a doctor/nurse who was trained in
asthma treatment by the tobacco industry?
Is this bashing? Or is bashing when you mention someone in particular?
