Looking at these two recent threads, I have to ask - if their bodies are
capable of becoming pregnant, maintaining a pregnancy to delivery - why
can't it breastfed that baby? I was not aware that age had anything to
do with breastfeeding.

Seems like ages ago I read that the oldest wet nurse (a while before
that) was around 72 years old, and her only complaint was that she could
only produce a quart a day.

I've worked with teen moms and my biggest factor is the teen's mom. If
she 'takes' over the baby, I've had no success what-so-ever. My only
personal recommendation is that I treat them just as I treat the other
mothers I encounter, they really appreciate not being talked down to, or
ignored (one said no one ever talked to her, they always talked to her
mom - a real shame).
