Dear Rachel and other Listmoms,
I do very much understand the caution here, and did think about this
before posting. However, Ms. Pugmire made the decision to put her personal
information in JHL, which is already open to the public since it is available in
libraries. So I believe Ms. Pugmire had already given permission for her
address to be circulated. My address is included in my JHL bottle-feeding
article. This article is being widely shared, for which I am humbly and excitedly
grateful. No one asked my permission to include my address when ILCA made the
decision to post the article to their website, and I do not believe they needed
to. My address gets circulated every time someone shares the article with a
colleague, without any additional permission on my part. I think that is the
decision you make when you put your contact information in a published
article.
