Our NICU rate of infants receiving their own mother's breastmilk varies from
85-90% on any given day (same as our normal newborn population).  There are
several studies out there reporting good rates (Sweden) and not-so-good rates
(USA).  Unfortunately I don't have my slides with me to pull off the
references.  You might try starting with Yip E, Lee J, Sheehy Y et al. J
Paediatr Child Health 1996; 32:296-298 and work backwards via the references
or run a Medline.
