I love your enquiring mind Jan! LOL.  I was one of those pitocin/long
epidural/excess IV fluids mothers, but I sure as heck wouldn't have
appreciated you arriving at visiting time with a bowl of boiled cabbage for
me to eat.  It may well have caused fluid loss, but of the more obvious and
much more-rapid-than-you'd-anticipated type. If you catch my drift...
So please count me out of that experience-based research proposal of yours ;-)
