Hi all -

I need to hook up a mom with some local advocacy support in southern
Illinois - can anyone help?

Katherine Shealy
who survived the exam yesterday despite waking up yesterday morning in a
panic that I had the casein/whey information wrong!

ps - totally unrelated except that my exam testimonial reminded me of
someone else's celebration - in the past at least (haven't checked in on
them recently), Hooters has been incredibly supportive of breastfeeding, has
been known to be unpleasant to customers who complain about another customer
nursing (and offering the nursing mama her meal for free while relocating
the offending other customer) and even invited 2 LLL groups to have lunch on
them in KC a few years back, with much nursing in public. Also, all of the
Hooters in KC offered private pumping areas for their employees, and
subsidized LC services for them as well. I'm not sure if this is
company-wide that they are that supportive, but at least in one little part
of the US they are a wonderful exception. It can be dangerous to make
assumptions that they would not be supportive because of their money making
aspect.
