Hello Everyone

I need some opinions [research would be good too :-)]

What is the most effective way to provide hand out notes?

I'm giving a 2 hour seminar during World Breastfeeding Week to a private hospital. I want the staff to internalise messages that are likely to be Very New Indeed for them. Giving full notes in advance probably means people will read them and not interact during the seminar. Giving them at the end probably means they will never be read as we all rush on to our next event. Such is life!

I saw at the recent GOLD10 conference that many people give handouts consisting of PP slides with spaces for notes (because ideally slides act as a talking point, and do not stand alone). Is this the best way? I have been googling Adult Education, but don't see anything yet on take-away notes.

Thanks
Jacquie Nutt IBCLC
