How very well said!  You're right,I think policy is inorder.  I'm curious,
how did you get policies from competing hospitals to look at??  Would it be
acceptable to ask if anyone would be willing to share their hosp b.f.
policies as examples of where to begin?  Too, you're right about the Mr/Ms
America buisness at least out here that is, I had to chuckle!
