Found it!  Jan Riordan, RN, MSN, EdD, IBCLC, & LLLL did a session at the
LLLI conf in Florida on meds during birth and breastfeeding.  You could
call LLLI to get info on getting the tape.  There's a short article on
Pg 167, in the Sep-Oct 99, New Beginnings,

from that: Riordan developed a study to focus on epidural anesthesia's
effect on baby's suckling and duration of breastfeeding....It clearly
showed that medication during birth did negatively affect babies'
suckling during the 12 hours, and that combining medications increased
the effect.
