The Journal of Human Lactation, the world's premiere journal focused on
breastfeeding and human lactation, has made a call for papers for its May
2018 issue, focusing on breastfeeding and social justice. JHL announced
last year that it was opening its doors to submissions from writers and
researchers in all fields (bring on the sociologists, anthropologists,
psychologists, etc.!) There is a link to a flyer about their call at the
end of this post. Your articles sound just about perfect.

The editor Joan Dodgson is a real gem ... I just heard her speak at a
conference last weekend. She encourages anyone with questions or ideas
about this special issue to reach out to her. If you have concerns about
page limits, I am sure she would be open to a discussion of options. Her
email is on the flyer.
