anna h. asks why there is so much talk about what kind of bottles to use for
what type of situation if we know about nipple confusion etc.

because we are living in a bottle feeding society, and they are the cultural
norm, and even those who work in this field seem to have a hard time
overcoming the feeling that using bottles is "normal." short of having some
sort of malevolent interpretation of this phenomenon, that's all i can
attribute it to.
