Julie,

Well I'm not in a hospital but recently attended a talk by Kittie Franz about immediate STS and she was able to get it started at her hospital by pointing out that the AAP, AAFP and ACOG all recommended immediate STS until the first breastfeed - don't they want to be AAP, AAFP and ACOG complainant?  Especially before the next JACHO inspection.  She stated it worked well even with those very resistant to change.
