Why does the mom not use Lansinoh instead?

I recently had a 6th grade girl miss a week or so of school. She came
in finally, with horrible cold sores all over her poor mouth. I decided
I had to say something so I suggested that her mom go get Lansinoh and
use that all the time, keeping it moist all the time. Within two days
the girl looks so much better, and today it was almost gone. She says
her mom was very happy I did speak up. I know the girl felt funny
putting "breastfeeding" cream on her mouth, but she sure was happy her
mouth was healing!
