HI all. We frequently get questions about changing email addresses, and
therefore, Lactnet subscription addresses.

If you know your email address will be changing, unsubscribe from Lactnet
from that address before that happens. Do a

Unsubscribe Lactnet

command, sent to [log in to unmask], the command address for ALL
listserv commands for LACTNET.

Then resubscribe to Lactnet if you wish, doing a

SUBSCRIBE LACTNET yourfullname

to the same address.  That will do it nicely.

If for some reason your email address changes without your knowledge, and
you have NO ACCESS to that address to unsub, you can then ask the
[log in to unmask] and get one of the list admin
volunteers to help you.

It is helpful  if you wait to ask for help *after*  you have already:

1. read the welcome message: to get another copy, (and tsk tsk for throwing
it out when we asked you to print it out originally), send a

Get Lactnet Welcome

command to [log in to unmask]

2. tried to do it yourself without success, after reading supporting
materials such as the LACTNET welcome.

We cannot just automatically be responsible for changing email addresses
for all 3000 of you, so we appreciate the fact that you take control of
your own knowledge when it comes to the simple listserv commands that are
available to manage your subscriptions.
