Another thing that never gets looked at in studies like this is which
came first... the stuffy nose and fever or the prone position? I am
guessing that babies who are prone to ear infections and colds due to,
say, allergies or high palates.... also do not sleep well on backs.

Just a speculation from an IBCLC, a pediatric nurse of 23 years, and
mom of three. In other words... this "study" could mean next to nothing.
