My new TV Guide magazine says that this week on Mad About You "Jamie
rejects bottle feeding for Mabel..." I plan to watch to see what goes
into this. Here's hoping...

Now on a more serious note, has anyone every heard of a delayed or
impaired MER being associated with the "aura" of a migraine? Mom has no
plans to stop nursing, because her migraines are actually better during
pregnancy and breastfeeding, but has noticed and is concerned about
this.

I'm a couple days behind, so sorry if this is too late, but last week
someone asked about green stools in a bf baby and smoking. Sorry, I
don't know specifically about smoking, but there are other things that
can cause green stools (in a newborn, some green or greenish stool is
normal occassionally). In addition to a fore-hind milk imbalance that
you already discussed, how about vitamin supplements (particulary
iron-heavy prenatals), dairy or citrus allergy, or another herbal or
medical substance that mom is ingesting? All these can cause green
stools in baby.

Now, I know this has been discussed here fairly recently, but if a baby
is otherwise healthy and thriving and producing stools, is the color
really of any concern??
