The Book is actually quite good, written by a professional writer with
extensive editing, corrections and rewriting by Joan Meek MD, MS, RD, who is
on the Board of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine.  It was also
extensively reviewed by members of the AAP Section on Breastfeeding,
including Larry Gartner MD.  It is not perfect - it had to be approved by the
AAP Board, not just the Breastfeeding Section.  (eg. I don't like the
co-sleeping statement). Dr, Meek and the Section reviewers did not know about
the sale/logo deal with Ross.
