I work in newborn Nursery and Leve I and II .
I don;t know how many of you work in Nursery........

I had asked this question before but did not get very many replies. May be you did not get to open your e-mails. This information will help me a lot in my work setting.

They have been inserting tube down to tummy right after birth for years
to suction excessive secretion and for patency check . I have heard in some hospitals they don't do it at all. I need your feed back if you guys follow this practice or not . The fluid baby has post birth in tummy helps stabalize the sugar for the trasition as what I read somewhere, I don;t remember where..

Please kindly write the feed back if you think this is helpful or not. how many of you still do this practice.
. we are thinking to change practice .
It will help me a lot.

  Thanks
