I agree and the only reason the I brought it up to begin with is because I
hadn't really formed an opinion of right or wrong about it.  I do see myself
nursing my second son that long, but there is a difference between don't
offer don't refuse and encouragement.  Not that encouragement is a bad thing
in all cases.  I was just looking for other points of view to help me decide
what to say to her the next time she asks me if I think she's odd.  I don't
think she's odd, and I think that nursing relationships are beautiful and
nurturing regardless of the child's age, I was just looking for a general
consensus.  Thanks to all who responded.
