I am interested in the experiences of LCs who have worked with mothers who
have had spinal cord injuries. The breast is innervated by the 3rd, 4th and
5th intercostal nerves. How do mothers who have injuries above T3 fare? Do
you see problems with milk production due to reduced or no sensory
stimulation?
