Hello All,

I (Keith Marretta) am currently an undergraduate student in the dietetics
program in the Dept. of Human Nutrition and Foods at Virginia Polytechnic
Institute and State University (Virginia Tech).  My particular interest in
Lactnet was spured by my recent undertaking of an Undergrauate Research
Thesis to investigate the relationship between maternal iron status and
breast milk concentration of folate in vegetarian and nonvegetarian
lactating women. I have undertaken this project with a profesor of mine,
Dr. Beth Thomas who has extensive interest and experience in the general
area of folate.

I am in the early stages of my Review of Lit. and am finding the topic
extremely interesting.  If anyone out there has any particular interest or
experience in this topic, I would love to hear from you and get some
feedback or suggestions.
