Okay,
I can tell you "been there, done that" on this one... working as a
secretarial aide I was putting something into a bin on top of a four drawer
file cabinet. The top drawer to this cabinet had a faulty latch that
required a pen cap jammed in the opening to keep it closed... substitute my
breast (nipple/areola) for pen cap and you can imagine my horror when I
heard (AND FELT!!!!!!) the drawer click in place. I then could not reach
around to unlatch the drawer -- luckily my officemates stopped laughing long
enough to free me...
The resulting bruise/blood blister were not so funny and took weeks
to heal -- I hadn't thought about this incident until reading that analogy
-- timely again as I just was at a home visit for a new mom with very sore
nipples, curteosy of the nurses at the local hospital teaching latch on by
the "shove them at the breast" method -- at least they keep me busy!

anne, who is very careful around filing cabinets now!!
