I, personally, have found that different pumps work for different women.
While we would usually recommend a double-electric pump (e.g., Pump 'n
Style, Purely Yours) for the majority of women who work full-time, we
need to consider that some women won't respond well to this type of pump.
I, for one, am able to get 3 oz. in 20 min. with a hospital grade pump
(you should see my 24 lb. 1 y.o.!). On the other hand, I can use the
A**** manual pump and get 4 oz. (both sides) in about 5-10 min.

Yes, I still need to pump for my 1 y.o who nurses at least 8x/day! She
actually spits out the EBM my husband gives her. I just can't go for a
whole day w/o pumping.
