John Flohr, who teaches at Texas Woman's University in Denton, is the
consultant to the music folks distributing classical CDs to babies. There
is actually no research to back up the claim that listening to classical
music can improve cognitive development in babies. Research has shown that
listening specifically to Mozart can improve adults scores on exams. The
rest is extrapolation.
