If the baby is otherwise well and growing and this is a good
experience for the mother and baby, why stop and why do tests? In my
experience, we rarely find an answer for the blood in the stool, and
the baby does go through a lot of unnecessary testing without us ever
finding an answer. I would wait and do nothing. I would not stop
breastfeeding, and I would not do any tests unless there were a
definite change for the worse.
