I just had a call from a woman who is nursing a 10 month old. She had
planned to nurse her baby for about a year. She is now pregnant and
expecting in June. Her doctor states she should wean because nursing makes
the uterus contract and this might decrease supply of oxygen and nutrients to
fetus. She would prefer to continue nursing her 10 month old for a couple
more months but doesn't want to do anything that could harm "the baby inside
of me."
I need references, not just anecdotal evidence.
Please e-mail me privately as well as replying to the list as I am currently
NOMAIL.
Thanks. Bonnie
