Dear Lactnet friends,
My sister called to tell me that the Cleveland Plain Dealer ran an ad for a
large insurance company on 11/5/97.  The ad was itself large, about 1/4 page.
 The copy says: "Did you know that breast-feeding can make your baby
stronger?"  The illustration shows just the side of a crib, with two of the
rails bent apart; no baby inside the crib.

My sister found this illustration disturbing and I must say that when I
received it from her in the mail today, I'd have to agree.

Has anyone else seen this ad??
