Dear Colleagues,
Quick question: I am a hospital based lactation consultant and recently my supervisor told me that she thinks we aren't cleaning our pumps properly. Do any of you have a Policy or Procedure in place which instructs the proper cleaning? We have mainly Ameda Elite pumps and were just wiping them down with antibacterial solution. She says that she thinks it needs to be done differently. Our Ameda rep does not give us a straight answer.
Thoughts?
